Well I took Ruben and his 16yo son Eric fishing Monday. We hit the water at 6am and headed to our first spot, I set Eric up with a blueflaked Baby Brushhog and Set Ruben up with a pearl fluke. It took no time for Eric to start catching fish and by 8:30 he had his dad and Me down 3 to 1 with his 9 bass as the bite slowed we relocated to another location and caught a few more. By noon Eric had over 15 bass and the largest one of the day . It was a good day and fun was had by all.

Got on the water about 4:30pm headed over to the discharge, water temp. 75 fished there for a while with no luck, very windy over there. So I headed to some calmer water over by buzzard point. caught three or four unders and this one slot. Brush hogs in the reeds. Oh the temp over there was 57, looks like there in pre spawn, so it won't be long for game on. Fished till dark and came on home. When I got there at oak thicket there was only 5 trailers there. Did'nt catch much but had fun out on…

Things seem to have been a little slow on this site over the summer. Just like the fishing I guess. It has been tough to get more than about 15 fish in the boat until last Friday when we put 40 in the boat on C-rigs. It took most of the day and was a lot of work but still fun. Looking forward to the fishing picking up over the next few weeks and into the winter.
